On Broadway, Matt has performed as Radames in Elton John and Tim Rice's rock & roll musical Aida, in Frank Wildhorn's The Civil War, as Chris in Miss Saigon (also on the national tour), and as the White Guy in Smokey Joe's Cafe, which was also filmed for television and currently available on home video and DVD. Also, in NYC Matt has performed in the Sondheim Celebration at Avery Fisher Hall and workshopped shows with Lincoln Center Theatre, Roundabout Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop and The York Theatre. Regional theatre credits include starring opposite Linda Eder in Frank Wildhorn's new musical Camille Claudel at the Goodspeed Opera House, as Paul in Company in the Kennedy Center's Sondheim Celebration, reprising his role for the 2002 Kennedy Center Honors paying homage to Elisabeth Taylor, as Starbuck in 110 in the Shade and Terry in Side Show at Signature Theatre, as Billy in Carousel and Lancelot in Camelot at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse and most recently at the Arena Stage in Washington, DC, as well as roles at the Alley Theatre, and Music Theatre Wichita. Matt's many recordings as well as his first solo musical theatre album are released on the Jay Records label and are available on his website, www.MattBogart.com He earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).
